you say Goodbye, I say Hello

Goodbye brightly colored swim bag filled with goggles, swim diapers, and sunblock...Hello to new backpacks, pencil shavings, and the ever-essential Trapper Keeper

Little Dudes and Divas

Goodbye to sipping iced tea on the back porch watching the grass grow...Hello to sipping pumpkin spice lattes by the fire watching leaves fall from the trees

LemonTreeStudio

Goodbye tank tops, flip flops, and swimsuit tan lines...Hello sweaters, scarves, and a brand spankin' new pair of kicks

modern seed

Goodbye to holding my babies wrapped tightly in bright beach towels, staring at the pool...Hello to holding my babies wrapped tightly in cozy quilts, staring at a football battle unfolding

Imkquilts

Goodbye to long walks and picking wildflowers...Hello to long walks and picking the most perfectly round and pudgy pumpkin

Goodbye to the careless living of summer...Hello, to the fresh commitment of fall!

These are a few of my favorite FALL things.
Now it's your turn...

You are such a creative writer. I just came across your blog from Ellie's a few weeks ago. I am having so much fun reading it. Madison and I got to visit with Crystal this weekend. It was so great to see her and have her tell us about your girls. We hope to get come visit all of you someday soon. Hugs from the Marteneys!

Goodbye sweating like a pig and cowering inside in the air conditioning all day. Hello actually being able to go outside and not be burnt to a little crisp.

I love Idaho in the fall!

You have a great way with words. Good bye to the hot days of fun in the sun, hello to the beautiful crisp days, of raking and playing in the leaves. Good bye to the smell of fresh rain and blooming flowers and trees, Hello to the smell of fire places warming hearths and souls. I love the fall for all its own beauty.
