Here's to You #2...Olympic Swimming Mom

Since I'm closing in on the big 3-0 and I've had two children, I've pretty much scratched off my bucket list "winning an olympic medal". But this mom and 41 year old hasn't! Dana Torres made the U.S. Olympic swimming team for a record fifth time, winning the 100-meter freestyle over Natalie Coughlin at the trials. You can read more about it here.
I could use some of that determination! Am I the only one pumped about the 2008 Olympics???

I'm TOTALLY pumped about it! In fact, you can talk to Susie...her "hero" just made it! (She has his poster on her wall and everything...and has spoken with him. He's from Boise.) Either way, I don't have ANY kids yet, am not even 30 and am satisfied watching "others" compete. Good for them. :p

Once they make Hot Dog Eating a full Olympic sport, I plan to represent my country. Hopefully that will happen before I'm 80, because nobody really wants to see that when I get that old.
